Which? Learn to Play Electric Guitar, or Learn to Play Acoustic Guitar?

If you learn to play electric guitar, a whole array of sounds and electronic effects will be available that are not found in a standard guitar. Just listen to any rock band including an electric guitar player and you’ll be amazed at what a talented player can do with the thing. Interestingly, however, many electric guitar players actually prefer a regular non-electronic guitar. That sounds surprising to most of us, but they claim that there is more “feel” to playing a non-electronic guitar; that the vibrations are inspiring as you play. So, as you pursue your choice to learn to play electric guitar, you may want to keep in mind adding the regular guitar to your instrument collection in the future. Electronic flexibility and classic “feel” may go well together.
