The Car Races
Our town has its own race track for cars. It is not a huge race track, but we all enjoy going to watch the cars go around the track during the summer nights. We do not have any big shot racers, but we have plenty of local celebrities. At the end of each racing season they calculate the points each driver has earned from winning races, and declare an overall winner. As the winner takes a victory lap his or her car is enveloped in metallic and tissue confetti which is then strewn all around the track at over a hundred miles an hour!
