Many of us in our day-to-day existence use a computer to help us work and interact with other people and organizations. However, we must be aware of unscrupulous people who use ID fraud which could damage our reputations. These people are only too keen to steal your personal data to use it to apply for driver’s licenses, credit cards, store cards as well as buying goods and services. To protect yourself against id fraud be suspicious of emails asking you to re-enter personal data and make sure you always re-type the URL of a bank or other site that holds your personal data to be sure you are being directed to the authentic site.
