Self Hypnosis: Overcoming Bad Habits
Self hypnosis is useful in overcoming bad habits of many kinds: overeating, smoking, and procrastination, among others. However, self hypnosis is not a cure-all. It can only work for you if you really want to overcome a bad habit. If you want to lose weight, for example, you must be convinced at the deepest level that losing weight is something you want — that the pleasure of eating can’t make up for the health problems, or other challenges which being overweight brings with it. You can learn self hypnosis either by going to someone who’s trained in helping people to overcome bad habits, or even from a book or CD.
