I Have Had a Hard Time Connecting With Her
I have had a hard time connecting with my fifteen-year-old daughter lately. When she was little, she used to spend hours talking to me about everything in her life. As soon as she hit her teenage years, though, she was done with me. Not only did she not want to say anything to me, but it was a struggle to get her to even walk outside in my presence. I wonder if it would help to do something with her that she enjoys. I don’t personally like going to rock concerts, but I know that she would love concert backstage passes to her favorite band. Maybe I should get some and go with her.
