Every year a fundraising bazaar is held to raise money for our three local Children’s Shelters. Local farms and businesses set up booths to sell donated items. The booths are maned by children from each of the shelters (supervised by an adult, of course). This year we even had 2 balloon sculptors with helpers that roamed through the crowds selling balloons as well as working the balloon sculpting booth. Our vitamin supplements and farmers market booths did very well. These troubled children need all the help these shelters can give and it is great seeing kids form the shelters manning all the booths at the event.
