Evaluating the effectiveness of your small business website
How effective is your website in your small business marketing efforts? Do you even know the answer to that question? To move your Internet marketing strategies forward, look at your website as if it were a tradeshow booth. When you have a booth at a tradeshow, you want to get as many visitors as you can, and you want to collect as many names of leads as you possibly can. Same thing goes for your website. You know that if you’re standing at a tradeshow booth, you can’t go into a hard sales pitch as soon as a prospect approaches. You find out what you can about their needs and tell them how your product or service addresses those needs. Your website has to do the same thing. Think of it as a 24/7 tradeshow booth collecting leads while you focus on other things.
