Fuel Cells For Cars: An Alternative Choice.
As gas prices continue to rise, the need for more fuel-efficient vehicles is evident.
Recent developments into fuel cell technology have resulted in many positive findings. For example, the electricity produced by some of the latest fuel cells is enough to power an average-sized car. And the added benefit of zero emissions is another positive.
In fact, the United States government has invested more than one billion dollars into the research and development needed for a reliable and cost-effective fuel cell car.
The bottom line is this. With the United States dependent on outside sources for 55 percent of its oil, we need to have an alternative fuel choice in place for future generations.
